Chimps able to puree own food, experts find Spanish primatologists studying chimps at the
Madrid University Zoo recently observed a female who does not have
any teeth eating apples by rubbing them against a wall and then
licking off the ‘puree’ of apple that was left there.
Other chimps within the group began to imitate her actions, and
today 6 members of a group of 9 chimps are doing exactly the same
