Over half of your poop is actually bacteria, did you know that?
A flying leap?
A flying leap? New research suggests that birds' ability to fly
may have developed from a hunting method used by the ancestors of
modern birds. Traditionally, there have been 2 different theories
on the origins of flight. The first hypothesized that small
reptiles climbed trees and developed flight in order to aid them in
geting back down. The other suggested that dinosaurs who ran very
fast developed feathers which then helped them develop a flying
ability. This latest theory on flight is that flying developed out
of a hunting behaviour which involved jumping down onto prey from
above. JUNE 26, 1999, P. 6
