A fly's taste organs are its feet. If it lands on sugar, it will stamp on it to determine that it can be eaten before it begins its meal.
Beware of the bird
Beware of the bird The cassowary, which is Australia's largest bird,
has lost its fear of humans and has attacked 150 people in the past
decade. The large birds are fast and powerful, with very sharp
claws, and have caused a number of serious injuries and one death.
Due to people feeding them in the past, the birds now expect food
from humans and will attack for it. DECEMBER 4, 1999, P. 13
