Dinosaur embryo fossil twice as old as other finds
The fossilized embryo of a meat-eating dinosaur has been found at Lourinha, in central Portugal. Archaeologists believe it to be about 140 million years old, twice as old as any previously known fossil of this type. It is also the first fossil embryo to have been discovered from the Jurassic rather than the Cretaceous period.
