Tarantulas are very strong spiders. They pounce on their prey and hold it still with their legs while their fangs inject poison. The poison paralyzes the prey and a special fluid from the spider's stomach digests the soft parts. The spider then sucks up the insides of its victim's body.

A new report indicates that large areas of unique Scottish habitat may be threatened by climate changes due to global warming. As temperatures rise, certain species of trees, birds and lichens may be pushed out of their usual habitat and may even become extinct. However, these higher temperatures will encourage the growth and expansion of other species such as butterflies, bats and peatlands.
