Winter bugs called snow fleas are born in icy waters and feed on algae that grows on snow. Spring-tails are also called snow fleas and they leap around on snow banks. They eat the sap which oozes from trees. Spring-tails look very similar to fossils of 300 million years ago!

Hearty laughter proves to be good medicine, cardiologists' study finds
Medical researchers have found that people with heart disease are 40 per cent less likely to laugh in funny situations than people with healthy hearts. However, it is not known whether people with heart disease have lost their sense of humor, or whether humor actually helps to prevent heart problems. One thing’s for sure, it doesn’t hurt to have a good laugh!
