Scientists identify gene tied to primal urges
Scientists identify gene tied to primal urges U.S. scientists have identified a human gene that
may be linked to pheromones, odourless molecules that in other
animals trigger primal urges includeing sex, defence and kinship.
Researchers have long believed that humans also communicated
through pheromones but until now had been unable to detect the
potent molecules. AUGUST 29, 2000
