Scientists identify gene tied to primal urges
U.S. scientists have identified a human gene that may be linked to pheromones, odourless molecules that in other animals trigger primal urges includeing sex, defence and kinship. Researchers have long believed that humans also communicated through pheromones but until now had been unable to detect the potent molecules.
