Eating fish appears to protect people against Alzheimer’s disease and other forms of dementia, according to a new University of Guelph study. “It is possible that by eating fish you can prevent the onset of Alzheimer’s or even alleviate some of the symptoms. The link between healthy brains and high level of DHA, a fatty acid from fish, “is very exciting.‿ DHA is from the same group of omega—3 fatty acids that also lowers your risk of heart disease.
