FACTOID!!
Kangaroos are marsupials. They carry their babies in pouches. When a baby is born it crawls blind and helpless into its mother's pouch, feeds on her milk and stays there until it is quite large.

Alien flatworms lay siege to Scotland

Alien flatworms lay siege to Scotland
An entirely new species of flatworm has been discovered in an Edinburgh garden. Scottish earthworms had already been under siege by the accidentally-introduced New Zealand flatworm, ‘Artioposthia triangulata,’ and they now also have this new species to contend with. A flatworm can devour an earthworm in half an hour. As earthworms are essential for the fertilization and aeration of soil, this problem is of growing concern. The decline of the earthworm population due to flatworms could also pose a threat to other animals that depend on them for food, for example, hedgehogs, badgers and blackbirds.
