GRUESOME!!
Tarantulas are very strong spiders. They pounce on their prey and hold it still with their legs while their fangs inject poison. The poison paralyzes the prey and a special fluid from the spider's stomach digests the soft parts. The spider then sucks up the insides of its victim's body.

Bat alert

Bat alert
Rings which are slipped onto a bat's forearms to identify them may be interfering with research and contributing to bats going hungry. The sound that the rings make when they knock together could be scaring away the bat's food. This not only affects research results but leads to many hungry bats.
