Tequila sunset

Tequila sunset
Tequila is running dry as the demand for popular drink soars. Tequila is a distilled spirit made from the agave plant, which takes eight to ten years to mature. The increased demand, along with a fungus that hit Mexico's blue agave, is depleting the world's supply of tequila. The slow growth of the agave makes a quick recovery of the population and over-harvesting impossible. It looks like the world will just be short of tequila for at least a decade!
