In a new book, British historian David Keys warns that global warming may have killed between 50,000 and 100,000 people in the past 3 years and made up to 300 million people homeless. Extreme weather patterns such as hurricanes, floods and snow melts have been caused by the warming and have had the most effect in developing countries. Developing countries produce only 20% of the world’s carbon dioxide and they may start blaming the West for “carbon aggression‿.
