Global warming threatens ocean food chain
An extensive report released by the Geneva-based World Wildlife Fund along with Seattle's Marine Conservation Biology Institute, shows that global warming continues to have negative affects on ocean life, as particularly evidenced by an increase in the mortality rate of salmon. Experts are concerned that salmon may disappear altogether, pointing out that this would have a devastating effect on the ocean's ecosystem.
