Temperatures going up for past 150 years, study shows
A recent study published in the journal ‘Science’ adds weight to global warming theories. Researchers have shown in an analysis of freezing and thawing of lakes in Canada and the United States that the Earth’s temperature has risen steeply over the last 150 years. The annual freeze of lakes in North America, Europe and Asia is now occurring about 8.7 days later than usual over the last century and a half.
