The Malayan sun bear is the smallest bear in the world and is active only at night. It spends its days sleeping in tree nests and basking in the sun.

now be easier thanks to John Spiesberger of the University of
Pennsylvania. Using a computer software program linked to different
microphones, Spiesberger found that he could locate hard-to-find
creatures from their calls, when they are hidden in dark
