Adaptation of Trees & Shrubs to Survive in Local Environments

carbon dioxide - this is a gas that is colourless and odourless. Plants and trees consume carbon dioxide and give off oxygen as they grow. When you breathe out, you are breathing out carbon dioxide. Too much carbon dioxide in the air is a bad thing because the temperature of the Earth rises.
oxygen - this is also a colourless and odourless gas. All living organisms need oxygen to live. Trees and plants have an essential role in nature by providing the earth with air to breathe.
