Running frogs run rather than hop. They eat insects and make a noise like a popping cork.
No picnic for eagles
No picnic for eagles Researchers from the University of Arizona and
Oregon State University have found that bald eagles don't like to
be disturbed. The four-year study discovered that bald eagles
living along the Gulkana River in Alaska are upset by the presence
of humans in their areas. Adult eagles decrease their nest activity
by up to 59% and increase their time away from the nest by 24% per
day when humans are nearby. These actions taken by the eagles
seriously affect nestling survival. MARCH 16, 2000
