Feathered fossil boosts dino detectives
A recent fossil find has reinforced the idea that the first birds evolved from feathered dinosaurs. Chinese palaeontologists say that the fossil "Beipiaosaurus" has filaments on its limbs which have some characteristics similar to feathers.
