Ecotrust loans to boost 'conservation economy'
Ecotrust loans to boost 'conservation economy' Vancouver's non-profit organization, Ecotrust
Canada, has just partnered with a similar organization in the
United States in order to support and loan money to businesses
which promote a "conservation economy." Ecotrust Canada loaned
money to Timbre Tonewood Ltd. in Ucelet, which successfully helped
to get their business of making guitar tops off the ground.
Ecotrust Canada is presently trying to raise $3.3 million for
helping out companies in B.C.'s coastal rainforest area. <> 1999
