Indonesia challenges world

Indonesia challenges world
Indonesia's wood pulp production industry is growing quickly. Due to new high- technology pulp plants, fast growing tree plantations, and inexpensive labour, Indonesia is among the top ten wood pulp producers in the world. The pulp is used to make paper. Fast-growing Acacia trees are grown on plantations that use land with degraded soil, which the Acacias are able to thrive on. Indonesia is financially troubled, and so success in the pulp producing industry could mean a lot to both the government and the Indonesian people.
