GRUESOME!!
A species of Wasp in Costa Rica sting spiders and lay their eggs inside them. The spiders then lay an especially strong web to support the wasp larva and then dies. When the larva is born it eats the spider!

Lands for Life assailed as threat to rare forests
Plans to log and mine in large areas of Northern and Central Ontario have sparked 1,252 scientists (of these, 266 from around the world) to sign a statement which demands that the government change or drop the plans. A considerable debate has arisen as the scientists argue that the planet's forests are disappearing, and they demand that 20% of the wilderness areas be preserved. Ontario's Minister of Natural Resources claims, however, that the scientists lack background knowledge and credentials.
