Wood-processing centre opened A new wood-processing centre has opened, based at
the UBC Forest Sciences Centre. It will be known as the Centre for
Advanced Wood Processing and will provide education, consulting
services and technical support, as well as conducting applied
research projects. It is hoped that graduates from the Centre will
play an important role in Canada's wood supply industry, and help
to create new markets around the world.
