Noble fir trees grow in the mountains of Washington State and can live for almost 1,000 years!
Trees of Vancouver
Trees of Vancouver Vancouver has more than 100,000 trees of many
different species lining its streets and adding to the beauty and
livability of the city. Up to 20 per cent of these trees are more
than 12 metres high and these include maples, chestnuts and elms.
Cherries and plums make up another 30 per cent of the street trees
but many are now old and unfortunately are in decline. 28 MARCH 2000
