Genetically modified food
It is getting harder these days to find food which has not been genetically altered in some way. Men's Fitness Magazine reports that about 60 to 70 per cent of the food found in supermarkets has had their DNA spliced and diced. Last year, 65 million acres worldwide were planted with genetically modified seeds, and most of these form the basis of common food items such as ice cream, cereal, pasta, bread and soda.
