Humans suspected in horse extinction Scientists at the University of Calgary believe
that humans may have been a factor in the extinction of ancient
horses. The discovery of a horse skeleton with smashed vertebrae
and butcher marks prove that humans were hunting the horses. They
"can't say people cause the extinction but we can say hunting was
