Lemurs (primates that come from Madagascar) like to sunbathe on sunny days! They sit down and expose their tummies to the rays. In Madagascar, they are known as 'sun worshippers'.
Three men, two paddles, one boat and a moose
Three men, two paddles, one boat and a moose Three Ontario men have been hailed as heroes for
saving a moose that had fallen through the ice in the Magpie River,
north of Sault Ste Marie. The ice was frozen up to about 25 metres
from shore but then thinned. The men grabbed a canoe and paddled
through the thin ice to where the moose was stuck and beginning to
tire from its efforts to stay afloat. A large crowd watched as the
men tied a rope around the moose's neck and led it to open water,
where it swam safely to shore. 29 MARCH 2000
