A beaver's front teeth are bright orange because of their super hard enamel coat. These teeth must be sharp because the beaver uses them to cut down trees. Beaver's teeth never wear out because they never stop growing!
Banana paper
Banana paper Two Japanese firms have discovered a method of
making paper from banana plants. After bananas are harvested, the
plants are cut down and thrown away, and this new process could
turn the old waste into a new cash crop. It could also reduce the
number of trees cut down to make paper in the traditional way. One
of the firms has just published a children's book, Miracle Banana,
on its new banana paper. FEBRUARY 26, 2001
