Flukey frogs
There is new evidence that the cause of widespread deformities in North America's frog populations is due to parasites rather than pollution. A research team from Stanford University in California has found that Pacific tree frogs which had been exposed to the parasitic flukes of a family of aquatic snails developed limb deformities.
