Red worms or manure worms can grow to about 5-7 centimetres (3 inches) long and will eat their own weight in garbage every 24 hours. When worms are used in composting it is called vermicomposting.

Hop-Tree

Fruit of the hop-tree can be substituted for 'hops' in flavouring beer. Fruits remain on the tree throughout most of the winter. Buds are partially sunken into the (twig) bark and are not visible until after leaf-fall.
