Each year millions of birds are strangled to death because they are caught in plastic six-pack holders. Always collect six-pack holders and cut them into very small pieces and place them in a plastic recycling bin.

Crab Apple

Wild crab apple is a small (<12 m) tree. Its flowers are fragrant. The First Peoples dried the crab apples and used them throughout the winter. Many birds and small mammals consume these fruits, especially when they are over-ripened.
