The Malayan sun bear is the smallest bear in the world and is active only at night. It spends its days sleeping in tree nests and basking in the sun.

Witch-hazel is a small (10 m) tree. It usually grows in clumps. The twig of the witch hazel is used as a divining rod. First Peoples used the bark, twigs and leaves for medicinal properties.
