GRUESOME!!
The earthworms in the mountains of southeastern Australia release their own slime (called mucus) into the soil, live for 20 years, and move about underneath snow at soil temperatures of 0(C or 32(F, all winter long.

Apple Faces

Take an apple and peel the skin off.

Now carve out eyes, a mouth and a nose.

Wait a day and take a picture, and watch the apple face begin to wrinkle.

As the apple loses water the face becomes all wrinkled like an old man.

Now take another picture.

Wait a few more days and now take another picture.

Send in your three pictures (as jpegs or mail them as prints), and Global Forest will post them in the GF-Gallery along with your name and we will send you as a sticker as a reward!
