FACTOID!!
Roadrunners eat lizards.. and they must run at speeds of 25 kilometres per hour (15 miles per hour) in order to catch them.

Making a Solar Still

Dig a hole 30 centimetres by 30 centimetres by 30 centimetres (12 inches by 12 inches by 12 inches) in a spot which receives direct sunlight.

Place a drinking glass in the bottom centre of the hole.

Place a clean garbage bag over the hole.

Place a small rock in the centre of the garbage bag, over the drinking glass.

Anchor the garbage bag with rocks or bricks.

Don't anchor the bag too tightly because there needs to be a slight opening for air to move in and out of the hole.

After 5 sunny days in a row lift back the plastic and you will see water in your glass as a result of your solar still.

Take a picture, send it in (as a jpeg or mail it as a print), and Global Forest will post it in the GF-Gallery along with your name and we will mail you a GF series sticker for your GF collection.
