prey’s shell is thinner, which saves them 13 per cent of the
effort needed to open a shell. However, when in doubt, they attack
the right side of the shell. Statistics show that the right side of
a mussel’s shell is thinner about 56 per cent of the time,
but the birds attack that side 72 per cent of the time. “If
