Cuddles the seeing-eye pony
Cuddles, a 50 pound, 22-inch high miniature horse, has been trained as guide horse for the blind. Her trainers says she is better than a dog because she will live longer and has better peripheral (side) vision. Cuddles has been taught to ride elevators, walk through a mall, protect her owner from moving cars and even low branches.
