Lost and found

Lost and found
Palaeontologists have unearthed a new specimen of a rare dinosaur. ‘Spinosaurus’, a large, long-snouted predator, was first discovered in Egypt in 1915. However, the original specimen was destroyed during the bombing of Munich in 1944. Now researchers say that they have discovered the original fossil site and have found another partially complete Spinosaurus skeleton. This find should help make it easier for scientists to interpret several other dinosaur specimens found recently who are related to the Spinosaurus.
