More than 50% of your body heat is lost through your head. That's why in the wintertime we wear a toque (a woolen hat).
Copper warning
Copper warning A study undertaken by the Swedish Environment
Protection Agency has shown that copper concentrations are between
2 and 3 times higher on roadsides than they are in other areas. The
Agency blames the use of copper in the brake pads of cars. Fears
for safety prompted the use of copper in brake pads rather than
asbestos, which was used previously. However, it seems that copper
in brake pads may also be polluting the environment and harming
wildlife. 27 APRIL 2000
