GRUESOME!!
Green tree ants swarm over oak blue caterpillars but they are not attacking them. They are drinking a sweet liquid that the caterpillars give off especially to attract the ants. The ants act like living armor, shielding the caterpillar from wasps that might lay eggs on it. The ants and the caterpillars are partners in nature.

MB, environmentalists agree to pact on Clayoquot logging
Years of fighting over logging in Clayoquot Sound has come to a close. Environmentalists, native peoples, and MacMillan Blodel, the forestry company, have signed an agreement which will ensure that only a small amount of wood will be logged, and that it will be logged using ecologically sound methods.
