Developers in Guelph, Ontario, are using trees, shrubs and plants to create a successful drainage system on a flat land area of the Pine Ridge residential project. The trees and foliage ensure that the water drains properly, and act as a pre-filter system for storm water before it reaches the underground aquifier.
