Cinnamon and diabetes
New research has shown that cinnamon can help to prevent or delay Type II diabetes. Type II diabetes develops with age and researchers from the US Agricultural Research Service are recommending that people who currently have the disease should take a quarter to a full teaspoon of cinnamon a day. Clinical trials of the cinnamon extract are due to begin within the year.
