Researchers at the University of Jerusalem have discovered that when oral cancer cells are treated with lycopene, the pigment that makes tomatoes red, they die. The researchers say that the best sources of lycopene may be ketchup and tomato pizza toppings. Red fruits also contain lycopene, but in lower quantities.
