Vitamin C may fight cancer

Vitamin C may fight cancer
High-dose intravenous vitamin C may help cancer patients when all other treatments have failed. In a 1974 study, many patients did not respond to high-dose injected vitamin C, but in a few cases, tumours were killed within a few days. Taking high doses of vitamin C by mouth does not work, but injecting the vitamin can increase the concentration in the blood to levels that will kill cancer cells.
