A class frog has a see-through belly. It lays its eggs on leaves hanging over a stream. The tadpoles fall straight into the water when they hatch.
The great fire of Miramichi
The great fire of Miramichi On October 7, 1825, a forest fire broke out which
burned across 6,000 square miles of northeastern New Brunswick-
about one-fifth of the province-and killed at least 160 people.
This forest fire was the largest so far recorded in Canadian
history. It seems likely that there were really two Miramichi
fires, the first being a collection of smaller fires spread over
6,000 to 8,000 square miles, and the second a more intense fire of
about 400 square miles. OCTOBER 31, 2000
