GRUESOME!!
Winter bugs called snow fleas are born in icy waters and feed on algae that grows on snow. Spring-tails are also called snow fleas and they leap around on snow banks. They eat the sap which oozes from trees. Spring-tails look very similar to fossils of 300 million years ago!

Canadians take big step in reproducing stem cells
Canadian scientists have found a way to make stem cells reproduce in adults. Stem cells are the cells in your body that can grow up to be other types of cells. When you are a fetus, you have lots of stem cells because you are growing and developing. Adults don't have many, except in their bone marrow. Helping the stem cells to reproduce more quickly could help people that need transfusions of bone marrow regularly.
