Any tips on meeting elephants in the African bush?

Any tips on meeting elephants in the African bush?
Elephants may be large, but they are extremely quiet and fast. They have been known to chase people wearing white, even if it is only a white handkerchief around their necks. The white colour helps the elephant to see and track the person and keeps the elephant focused on the chase. Elephants are wild animals and should never be approached!
