Tarantulas are very strong spiders. They pounce on their prey and hold it still with their legs while their fangs inject poison. The poison paralyzes the prey and a special fluid from the spider's stomach digests the soft parts. The spider then sucks up the insides of its victim's body.
Wicked weedkiller
Wicked weedkiller Researchers have found that a fungus which usually
grows on tomato juice will also act as a herbicide on a weed that
is a serious problem for European farmers. However, spores of the
fungus must be sprayed on the weed at a specific point in its
development for the fungus to be an effective herbicide. 27 NOVEMBER 1999, P. 14
