GRUESOME!!
Green tree ants swarm over oak blue caterpillars but they are not attacking them. They are drinking a sweet liquid that the caterpillars give off especially to attract the ants. The ants act like living armor, shielding the caterpillar from wasps that might lay eggs on it. The ants and the caterpillars are partners in nature.

Road Salt is toxic , study finds
Road salt saves countelss human lives, buyt is a toxic substance that endangers plants and animals and should be regulated, says a five year Environment Canada study. Scientists found that road salts are entering the environment in very large amounts and posing a risk to plants, animals, birds, fish and lake and stream ecosystems and groundwater.
