The world has a limited supply of water, which is in danger of running out. As the world's population rapidly increases, the need for water is far greater. However, because of human activities and pollution, fresh water sources are quickly disappearing. Countries around the world, like Africa, Egypt, China and India are already facing water shortages, and people are already fighting over water. It is only a matter of years until water, which is the key to growing food and, ultimately, human survival, vanishes. The world needs to work together to protect remaining water supplies and to discover ways to supplement their growth.
