Water in California: Flowing gold
San Diego County's population of 6 million relies for the most part on the regional water agency called "The Met", for its water supply. However, the County fears a return of drought conditions and is now looking for alternative sources of water. Ongoing battles as to who will supply the alternative water, and who owns the surplus water from California's Imperial Valley, have yet to reach a resolution.
