Answer to energy woes blowing in the wind?

Answer to energy woes blowing in the wind?
A new wind-power generating project called Le Nordais Wind Farm is to be developed in Quebec. It is being built by an international consortium. When the project is completed, it should have a capacity of about 100 megawatts and be the largest development of its kind in Canada, and one of the largest in the world. The power generated will be sold to Hydro-Quebec. Internationally, Canada lags behind many countries in wind energy production. A non-polluting way to generate electricity, the development of wind power as an energy source has been slow due to the unpredictability of wind and the expense of the equipment needed. Recent European technological developments in the field of wind power have reduced many of these problems, leading to an increase in the development of wind power production. The Quebec project will use 55-metre high windmills which will power turbines.
